Foster is a graduate of Emory University School of nursing and a current MSN-PHD student at the University of Pennsylvania. Growing up in the southern part of the Sahara, he was quick to recognize that, the advancement of the African sub region cannot be realized without scientific research and the application of evidence based practice in all sectors of the continent; most especially, in our health care systems. Having lived in an area in Ghana where the scale of health and social services are disproportionately tilted against, he is passionate about bridging the gap between health care and the undeserved through research, education and self-empowerment. It is with this passion that he believes that there is an untapped talent on the African continent that can curb global health problems and social issues; hence, the need for such a student-lead organization that will facilitate the identification of Africa's problem solvers in science, innovation and health care.
